When the ball is intentionally passed through a defenders legs by an opponent.

To impede the progress of an opponent.

80. Offside
The shortest but the most complicated of the 17 laws.

81. Offside Trap
A defensive tactic to catch the opposing team in an offside position.
82. One Touch
When the ball is passed or shot with out stopping it.
83. Over committing
When a defender rushes in and does not delay the ball carrier. Also known as stabbing
84. Own Goal
When a player puts the ball into his own net.
85. Penalty Area
The area inside the eighteen yard box.

86. Penalty Kick
Awarded for a foul inside the penalty area.
The position of the players are as follows:
The player taking the kick and the defending goalie are inside the penalty area.
Everyone else must stand outside of the penalty area.
87. Penalty Mark
This spot is 12 yards from the goal line. This is where the penalty kick is taken.

88. Pitch
A British term for soccer field.
89. Pressure
To challenge an opponent.
90. Professional Foul
To intentionally foul an opponent for a tactical advantage. It usually results in a yellow card.
91. Promotion
After a complete season, The team or teams at the top of the table advance to the league after their own. see Relegation
92. Red Card
Given to a player after a serious foul, or after a second yellow card. The player is suspended for that game and the next.
93. Relegation
After a complete professional season, the teams at the bottom of the table (it varies between leagues.) are demoted to the league before their own.
For example in England: The Premier League, the Championship, Football League 1 and Football league 2
94. Save
When a goalie blocks and prevents a goal from being scored.
95. Set Piece
A predetermined play that is run on any restart (Corner, Direct Kick, Kick-off, etc.)
96. Settle
To bring the ball under control.
97. Shoot
To strike the ball in an attempt to score a goal.
98. Short Corner
A corner kick that is played with a short pass. Instead of a cross.
99. Show
To position yourself in area where you can receive a ball.
